Manage Programs That Run at Startup

14 October, 2008 (7:45 pm) | Windows

Startup Control Panel is a small program for Windows to manager the programs and services that start automatically when you boot your machine. It works on all modern versions of Windows through Windows XP. (Windows Vista has its own mechanism for managing startup programs: Control Panel -> Performance Information and Tools, and then click on Manage Startup Programs on the left.)

Startup Control Panel works great with Spybot – Search and Destroy: Use Startup Control Panel to remove unwanted programs, and use Spybot S&D to prevent them from being installed again.

Startup Control Panel is free, but the author Mike Lin accepts donations.
