Window Shopping Amazon Style
Amazon has a new shopping website called Amazon Windowshop. You browse through photos of products in various categories: Music, books, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, and video games. You browse using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Press the space bar to select an item. If you select a book, you will hear a review of the book read out loud. If you select a movie, you will see a trailer. If you select music, you will hear a sample of it. Each item you browse has, of course, links back to the Amazon store so you can purchase it. It is a new shopping experience, and while the selection is definitely smaller than the seemingly infinite number of goods for sale at the normal Amazon website, Amazon Windowshop definitely brings some of the fun of window shopping to the computer.
