QuickPar: Burn More Reliable Discs

30 December, 2008 (8:40 am) | Windows

Lifehacker has a story about how to use QuickPar to burn more reliable discs. Often you don’t use all the space on discs you burn. Use QuickPar to fill this leftover space with parity data. If some of the files on the disc get corrupted (which often happens as the discs get older), chances are you can use the parity data to restore the files.

Read the story at Lifehacker, and then download QuickPar to try it yourself.
