If you, like me, have Windows XP machines on your network, you may have run into trouble sharing files on them. XP has an Internet Connection Firewall that could be blocking file sharing. Annoyances.org has a two year old article explaining how to set up your Windows XP firewall. A few simple steps were all it took for my XP box to start sharing files again.
